What is the difference between the Plan Administrator, Department Managers, and Team Members?
Understanding the difference between the Administrator, Department Managers, and Team members will help you determine how to setup your online planning account. Their roles fall in line with the process of setting up the plan, implementing the plan, and tracking your progress on the plan. In setting up the plan, the Administrator will input organizational wide objectives. For each of those objectives, Department Managers will develop specific goals and action steps for their team members. Team members will mark their progress on those action steps throughout the implementation of your plan. The Administrator and Department Managers can run reports that show the organizations progress towards completing the plan.
So, in the sign-up screen you will see the following areas and will choose how many department managers and team members you will need. (There is always one administrator)

Team members can modify the status of their assigned tasks, and will also receive automatic emails reminding them of action items that need to be accomplished. Team members have the most restricted access to the software.
